Depart On Time

To begin with, we recommend you allow extra travel time to accommodate cab availability, and weather or traffic problems, especially during holidays/city events and heavy traffic periods. We advised you to be at the airport 2 hours ahead for domestic flights and 3 hours for international flights.

Also, the TSA urges all travelers to arrive at the airport well in advance of scheduled flight departures and has provided security checkpoint wait time information as a guide to assist in travel planning.

Furthermore, be sure to check with your airline for ticket counter wait times as well as possible changes to flight schedules, as these and other factors influence your decision regarding how early to arrive at the airport.

Call Your Airline

Above all, plan to leave plenty of time for travel to airports and processing of baggage and security upon arrival at the airport. Travel times to the airports vary widely depending on the day of the week, time of day, and construction.

However, Airport/airline recommended lead times for arrival at the airport also varies depending on destination, airline, security level, and other factors.

In other words, please call your airline for their current recommendation on advance arrival time and leave yourself plenty of travel time.

Lastly, we will charge the way back as a different trip, If you miss your flight or if your flight is canceled. Furthermore, our flat-rate taxi to O’Hare personnel is trained to respect all traffic laws, more importantly, we will not violate local or state traffic rules because you are late due to poor planning. On the other hand, we will do everything possible to arrive at the airport on time.

Where To Go For The Pickup

If you encounter difficulty finding the location, any airport traffic official or security personnel can provide guidance.

Each vestibule/door is clearly labeled with a number and letter. The specific terminal you will be in depends on the airline you traveled with and whether it’s a domestic or international flight.

Your terminal information should be listed on your flight ticket. The following vestibules are situated directly outside the baggage claim area:

Terminal 1: Vestibule 1F, Arrivals Level.

Terminal 2: Vestibule 2E, Arrivals Level.

Terminal 3: Vestibule 3G, Arrivals Level.

Terminal 5: Vestibule 5E, Arrivals Level.

Additionally, we can also pick you up from the Multi-Modal Facility (Rental Car Center) and the Bus Shuttle Center/Hilton Hotel area.

For meetups at Midway Airport:

Entry 2, Arrivals Level.

Beware of individuals soliciting rides outside the terminals. They can be extremely aggressive and may falsely claim to be your driver to lure you into riding with them.

Be cautious of anyone offering rides, as they may be attempting to scam you. These individuals, known as “pirates”, are unauthorized drivers fishing for customers. Ignore their offers and walk away, regardless of how appealing they may sound.

We frequently hear from new customers who have been overcharged up to five times the standard rate for trips to the city or suburbs. If approached by someone offering a ride or posing as your driver, please report them to the police or airport security.

Offering rides at the terminals is illegal for anyone. All pre-arranged taxi and limo companies must provide you with driver details before the driver arrives at the terminal. Your safety and security are our top priorities.
